DICC would like to inform all High-Performance Computing (HPC) users that scheduled electrical upgrade works will be carried out at the Data Centre on Saturday – Sunday, July 11 – 12, 2026.

During this period, the HPC system and all related services will be temporarily unavailable. The system is expected to resume normal operations on Monday, July 13, 2026, subject to the successful completion of the maintenance activities.

🛠️ Important Information for Users

  • Batch job draining will begin on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 12am.
  • Please avoid submitting long-running jobs that may not complete before the scheduled shutdown.
  • Users are advised to plan their workloads accordingly to minimize any disruption.
  • Once the system is back online, please verify the status of your jobs and resubmit them if necessary.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding as we carry out these essential infrastructure improvements to enhance the reliability and stability of our HPC services.
