HPC Service Degradation

Published by DICC

Greetings HPC Users,

We are currently having issues with our virtualisation servers that are used to host all the supporting services in DICC. As some of the disks of the storage system for virtualisation servers died, much of the data had to be recreated. This process will take sometime, which means that all access to any of the services will be slow until the infrastructure healed completely.

Please be reminded that the cluster will be shutdown on 22 November 2024, 8AM to prepare for the power maintenance in the Data Centre. We might consider bringing down the cluster early if things do not look good.

If you encounter any issue using DICC services, please proceed to raise a ticket at our service desk. Sorry for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

Thank you.
