Scheduled Service Maintenance

Published by DICC

Dear DICC Users,

There will be scheduled maintenance on 22 April 2024 starting 8.00am in order to perform necessary network service upgrade.

The following are list of affected services:

High Performance Computing (HPC)

The HPC clusters will be inaccessible during the scheduled maintenance. There will be a storage migration from old storage to new storage following the network service upgrade. The storage migration can last for up to a week depend on the data migrate rate. The HPC cluster will be available again after the storage migration and necessary service changes, together with the new infrastructure. There will also be an online webinar to introduce the new infrastructure, so stay tune.

Research Data Management (RDM)

Both Research Data Repository and UM Drive will be inaccessible during the scheduled maintenance. The service should resume its normal operation shortly after the network maintenance completes.

All users are advised to plan your works accordingly. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

If you have any concerns, please let us know.

Thank you.
